Part 9
The plan this morning was to meet Nate and the Cru-Crew at Boma for breakfast, so I got up at 8:15am, took the bus to AK, and then the bus from there to AK Lodge. I was the only one on the bus from AK to AKL, since nobody else was leaving the park that early! Important tip- allow LOTS of transportation time at WDW- it took me an hour to get from WL to AKL this morning!
The breakfast selection was awesome! There was bacon, breads, breakfast sausage, muffins, pasteries, fruit, cereal, and omlettes made to order. Our waitor's name was Simba, too! Cool!
My plans for today were to go to Sea World with Kiki, so after breakfast, I went back to the WL to wait for her. She had a bunch of delays, but finally picked me up at 3pm. When we got to Sea World, they were only open for two more hours, but we were determined to do as much as we could! Kiki got us a discount for being an AAA member- yay! In the short time we had, we went to the dolphin nursery, dolphin cove, sting rays, penguins, and sea lions. We wanted to go to Terrors of the Deep, but it was already closed. We watched the Shamu show in the stadium, and then it was time for the park to close. Not too bad for only having 2 hours!
I had a message from Nate, so I called him back, and we agreed to meet for dinner at the Rainforest Cafe at Downtown Disney. I changed clothes and went out to DD, but I couldn't remember where the RFC was! I called Nate, and he confirmed my suspicions that it was in Marketplace. Yay for cell phones!
We had a hilarious waitress named Peach, who we cheered for every time she brought food, and had a great time at dinner. I have no idea what was in those drinks, but it led to Nate and Cruella tying cherry stems in knots with their tongues (Nate succeeded!)
