I went in to the vet's office to check on Trin this morning, and found him up and thrilled to see me!  I talked with the vet for a while (a different one than yesterday), and he says that usually if cats have the disease that the other vet suspects, they're anemic and lethargic, and Trinny is neither of those.  His fever got up to 106.3 this morning, though, so he's obviously not well!  He has an IV in his front leg, and he looks so very cute trying not to get tangled up in it.  Mom and I got him to eat three big spoon-fulls of cat food, which is a great sign, because cats usually don't want to eat when they're sick.  The vet that was there today doesn't seem to think it's as likely that the other cats will get the disease, if it is what Trin has, and he said there was no point in keeping them in side, so they got to go back out today, which thrilled them to no end.  Of course, once they had their freedom back, they all wanted back in an hour later.  Things are still completely up in the air, but at least I have more hope now!

As I was leaving for work today, it was just starting to rain, but it was that nice kind of warm summer rain that I always find welcome.  I stood outside, hoping that it was washing away all of the bad things that have been happening.

Unfortunately, the nice summer rain decided to turn into the kind of weather that makes my job not so much fun.  When I got to Branson West today, the weather sirens were going off, so I turned on the radio, and found out there was a severe thunder storm warning for Reeds Spring, which was just a few miles away.  I dropped off stuff at the bank, and on my way back, ran into a HUGE storm, which I later learned had 70+ mph winds, and pea-sized hail!  I decided to pull over at a gas station that's abandoned, since I couldn't see where I was going at all, but apparently half the town had the same idea, and all of the spots under the awning over the pumps were taken, leaving me out in the hail.  Eventually, it passed, and I made it up to Nixa just 20 minutes late.

I got done with work too late to go visit Trinny again, but I called Mom, and she said that she had been by, and got him to eat some dry food, so yay for that!

I was cleaning off my desk tonight, and remembered that I'm supposed to send in my Tax Cut rebate by the 15th, so I went to my e-mail filing cabinet, and I can't find the confirmation e-mail I'm supposed to print and mail them *anywhere*.  I just bought ink for my printer for the very purpose of printing this email, and now it's gone!  The only thing I can think of is that maybe I used aol.com instead of AOL to check my mail that day?  I checked aol.com, but the oldest ones on there are from the 18th, and I would have gotten it on the 15th, so I'm sort of screwed.  I could REALLY use that $25, too!!

Mom and I have been having "What color of carpet should we put in the living room?" type of conversations about the Kimberling City house, so chances of buying it are looking up.  She would still like to have something closer to Branson, but anything halfway decent that goes on the market here is either a) a billion dollars, or b) sold within two days.  House shopping is hard!

I'm worn out from not sleeping last night, so I'm crashing early tonight! A good thing since I have to be up early (Hooray for Fridays!!)

Keep sending good vibes Trinity's way!
