Holy crap, I can't believe that I actually
haven't posted anything since we started remodeling the house! I spent
most of this afternoon over there painting my self living
room. I have
about a billion photos of the updates, so to keep from killing those of you who
are on dial-up, I've divided them into part
one, and part
two.
My cats have been freakishly cute lately, as if I didn't already talk about them enough, and they needed to do something extra. Last night, for instance, I was sitting right here in this very desk chair (which is actually a cheap plastic lawn chair, I have a severe lack of real furniture.) and looked out into the hallway to see Lilly dashing by, carrying an entire roll of toilet paper in her mouth. I have no idea how she could carry it, since it was probably at least half as big as she is, but it was without question the funniest thing I have seen in a long time.
Tallulah chose to exhibit her brains. We have this one kitty toy for them where you pull a string on it's back, and it vibrates. I was pulling the string and then sticking it on Lula, which she found very amusing, but then I got distracted. No problem for Lula, though, she just grabbed the little ring at the end of the string with her teeth, and pulled. She knew how to make the toy work! While I sat there fawning over her, telling her how smart she was, my bird said "Hi, I'm Bosco! I'm a pretty pretty boy!", to which I replied "Shut up, Bosco, Lula is being smart!". Poor bird, sorry, Bosco. The poor little guy could start spouting quadratic equations, and I would be saying "Aww, look! Lula can blink! She is so smart!"
