Funny how I go crazy not being able to update for all those months, and now that I can, I go back to always forgetting to update!

Friday at work was so much fun- the bank thought that it was my last day, so they brought me presents!  They got me a nice binder, and pens and notebooks and such to use for my classes!  I was so incredibly touched that someone actually took time to go shop for me!  I will miss them dearly!  After work, I went up to Springfield to buy textbooks, but the used book places only had one of the five that I need, and the one they gave me ended up being the 11th edition, when I need the 10th, so I'm hoping that it will still work.  I need to get up early and go buy books one day this week before work.  I was going to order them online, but the little menu where you pick the expiration date of your card only goes up to 2009, and mine expires in 2010, so it isn't working.  Plus, I'm worried about not getting them on time if I do it online.  We'll see if I can actually get out of bed early enough one day!  Too bad they aren't open on weekends!

Oh, anyway, as I was saying, I went to Springfield after work.  After my brief yet not very fruitful search for books, I met up with Christa to do some random shopping.  We checked PetsMart for birds (no conures or macaws, but a really cute chincilla!), stopped by Best Buy to exchange my Season 1 of Gilmore Girls since it got scratched up during shipping (plus pick up season 2), and then ran around the mall for a while, checking out post-holiday sales, at which I scored a LOTR calendar and a black and white cat calendar, each for just $3!  Christa and I also exchanged Christmas presents, and she gave me my birthday presents, since we still hadn't gotten around to doing that.  So many presents in one day!

I just dyed my hair, but you can still tell that I have roots, so it looks like I'm either going to have to pay someone to dye it back to a human color, or wait a year or so for my scary half and half hair to grow out.

I came across this site last week where you can transform your picture into you as a baby, child, old person, African, Asian, half-monkey, different artsy forms, etc.  I won't even tell you how long I played with it, but I can tell you that my mom as a western Asian person is the funniest thing EVER.  Also, here is me as a baby, three different artsy ones, as a man, and old!

Scary!
