Sometimes, the internet is a big freak. For some reason, IE won't let me open my page at all. If I open another page that has a graphic stored on my host, like my PX profile on IE, the picture won't show up. Anything I open in AOL works fine, though. Grr. Due to this freakishness, I also can't use my FTP program to upload my webpage stuff, which means I have to do it through my host's website, which is just a big pain. So, don't be surprised if I don't update a whole lot until I get this figured out! Actually, I'll probably type up a bunch of updates, but then get lazy about the uploading, and do em all in one batch. Stupid internet.
Speaking of big pain, I kept waking up all morning with a sharp pain kind of right above my ear, and I can't figure out what is causing it. I don't remember getting whacked in the head by anything recently (No, that thing in the closet a few days ago doesn't count, that hit my forehead on the other side). I was getting ready to go to Springfield today to return some library books and get more soap making stuff, but this makes me want to stay home instead. Stupid head.
You remember how the whole point of that 200 movies in 15 months thing was to get me to stop watching the same movies over and over, and see some new ones? Well, it keeps backfiring. I watched X2 (X-Men 2) a few days ago, and am now on my 4th viewing of it, because after three times watching it on the cable On Demand thing, I decided I needed extras, and ran out to get both X2 and the original on dvd. Mmm, pretty shiny discs. This whole "must watch every really good movie over and over and over" thing makes watching 200 new ones in 15 months really hard. I blame Hugh Jackman. (Who, funny enough, doesn't do a whole lot for me in regular life, but give him funky hair and big metal claws that shoot out of his hands, and YUM).
I thought about going to Springfield anyway, despite occasional searing head pain, because I'm getting really really bored of being home. I considered talking mom into going wth me, so that if my head exploded in the middle of Hobby Lobby, someone would be there to pick up the pieces, but instead, I ended up crashing on the couch using her leg as a pillow through three hours of TV.
I have this crazy new thing going where I really want to go back to the original plan I had before we moved in of having my TV in the living room (amazing idea, I know), but I would have to get the nice cable men to put a cable outlet thingey in there, since the only one currently resides in my bedroom. Then there would be a whole lot of furniture moving, but I think I would be happier. Please send movers?
