Reading: "The Black Death: The Great Mortality" for my history paper.  I can only read it a few chapters at a time, though, because all of that death gets kind of depressing.  Not to mention the whole chapter on proposed remedies (lots and lots of bleedings.  In detail.)

I started this list with mostly silly apologies in mind, but then it became strangely therapeutic, and so on and on it went.

 

Apologies to the World

 

I am sorry..

For not being a better listener

For kissing your boyfriend

For not telling you the truth

For not saying goodbye

For ever letting you go

For the fact that there was a time in my life when I would confuse McGyver with Mick Jagger

For lying to you

For not paying you back

For taking those things

For stepping on your tail

For not calling enough

For not giving you a chance

For only believing what I wanted to believe

For messing up your art project when I was little

For making you feel insecure

For complaining so much

For not telling you how much I appreciate you

For not showing up

For leaving early that day

For not staying till the end

For not trying better to know you

For taking all the credit

For breaking your toe

For not spending enough time with you

For not trusting you

For laughing so loud

For making it so difficult

For making it all about me

For not standing up for you

For making you uncomfortable

For not saying more

For scaring you like that

For not being more honest

For making us miss the tour

For being so picky

That I never told you how I felt

If I led you on

For worrying so much

That I once bought a Britney Spears CD

That I wasn’t here

For forgetting my lines

For laughing during your speech

For not still being in touch

For invading your privacy

That I never remember your names

That I was thinking of him

That I sometimes forget

That there’s no way to relive it

That I smushed you with my car

For kind of missing the way you were before

For being sort of relieved, if only for a second

For making it up

For holding back

For making you work late

For messing up your film

For the things we said behind your back

For not appreciating what it meant at the time

That you weren’t in on the joke

That I didn’t finish

That you had to go through it again because of me

That I can never remember the name of the 3^rd tenor
