kay, so it's actually 1am now, and I'm just now remembering to post, but close enough! I really need to start remembering earlier in the day! I just finished doing a bellydance/yoga fusion dvd, so my body is all stretched out and a little tired, and ready to go curl up with the big pile of books I brought home from the library today. Mmm, books!
I ended up spending less time in Springfield than I had planned. Only did an hour of dance instead of two, and then went to Barnes & Noble to browse, then went to sell my textbooks (Was only able to sell one, will have to sell the other online), and then the library, animal shelter to say hi to the cats, and then home. My library bag was so crazy heavy that I could barely carry it out to the car. Expect book talk soon!
I only have four assignments left for history, all due on Thursday, and then I am free! Free! Free to..um, find a job. Or two. I stopped by two different hotels near my house today to see if they were hiring for front desk (I am now looking for a job that requires a lot of sitting on my ass with internet access.) One wasn't sure, and the person who would know was out of town, and the other one wasn't hiring, but wanted me to fill out an application anyway, just in case. I might hit a few more tomorrow- there are an insane number of resorts on the lake in my tiny little town, one or more is sure to be looking for help. I'd really like to split between two part time jobs, just to break the monotony of having to show up to the same place and do the same thing with the same people every day. Keeps things a little more interesting. If finding something locally fails, I can always find a zillion jobs in Branson.
