Well, I'm supposed to be working on my last 4 posts for history, but instead I'm looking at yarn on e-bay, and playing with my cafepress store, and listening to hip drop radio. I could at least be getting dressed to go grocery shopping (I haven't had food in the house in weeks!) but no, here I sit. I'm having an awful allergy day, and I just want to curl up and sleep. Reeeally should have done that history stuff earlier in the week! I just can't get going today. I'm making tiny micro-movements to get started- opened the class website. Opened my Word file that has the beginnings of my posts. Went to lay down with Tallulah. Open history book. Go on E-bay. Look up something in book. Type a sentence. Sit for a while. Yeah, it's slow going at best. And only 8 hours till it's all due. The good side is that we only have to do the 4 posts this week, not the usual eight zillion replies to get all the credit.
Okay, that's more than enough about my homework (one post down, 3 to go!). I am thinking about going out to Silver Dollar City for a few hours tomorrow, because the Worldfest ends on the 15th, and I would really like to see more of it before it's over, and maybe get some video of the freaky grasshopper guys to show you. Now if I could just get the hang of getting out of bed at a decent hour so that I could actually go to the places I plan on going, we might make some progress.
(Two posts down! Two to go!) I just realized last night that my free month of Blockbuster Online ends in a couple of days. I've been loving all the bellydance dvds they have, but I really can't afford to pay for membership right now. Plus, they are sooo much slower than Netflix. I'll probably go back to Netflix once I start working. I searched their database, and they have a ton of bellydance dvds too, including a bunch that Blockbuster doesn't have. They even have Rachel Brice! That alone makes them superior.
I am so bummed that my video camera battery was dead just now when I needed it. Tallulah just woke up from a dream, and she had "bedhead", with her fur sticking out at funny angles, and this expression like she was mad at the world for waking her up. In other words, she looked like me when I wake up.
I am so in love with Hip Drop Radio. Bellydance music ALL day! Right now the song Bif Bam Boom by Clotaire K from this cd is playing, and I am obsessed with it. I am going to spend about a zillion dollars on Amazon once I have money again.
And how's this for odd? The same day (yesterday) that I posted baby pictures of Tallulah, Mo Pie posted pictures of a kitten that looks very much like baby Lula! Apparently, yesterday was Cute Black And White Kitten Day.
(Annnnd all 4 posts done! Free at last!)
