I thought I'd make up for the super short entries lately by actually starting this one *before* I'm about ready to go to bed!
I *finally* dyed my hair tonight- I've had the box of hair dye sitting around for months! I wanted to give it a little break, though, and I was kind of interested to see what my real hair color is (It's kind of cool!) But now that I had 6" roots, it was time to give it up. So, I dyed it in the usual fashion, one of the colors I use a lot, and the weirdest thing ever happened- it ended up kind of light-medium brown! You have no idea how manyt times I have actually been trying to dye my hair brown, and it ends up red. If I tried to dye it green, it would probably end up red. And so tonight when I tried to dye it about as red as I go, it ends up brown! The world is screwy.
Gilmore Girls season finale was tonight! I cried! After so many sub-par episodes, it was so nice to have a good one! And it was all worth it for the last 10 seconds! After, I watched Britney's reality show on UPN- that whole not being able to look away from something weird and kind of scary. I learned that she has the most annoying laugh in the world! I may have to keep watching, though.
I got up all early to go to dance class this morning, and traffic on the way to the studio SUCKED! First there was road construction on the road that I take most of the way there, so we had to do the slow one-lane at a time thing, then there was a ton of traffic in Springfield, and then, one block from the studio, I had to sit and wait for a train to go by. And THEN, just as the caboose is in sight, and about to go past, the train STOPS. Then, it BACKS UP! It was hilarious to see about six people in cars around me all throw their hands in the air (apparently the international gesture of "WTF?" at the exact same moment I did when the train started backing up). So, I finally made it to the studio, and then Britney never showed up. So, I went shopping for work clothes instead, and found a pair of black pants, and a super cute red tank top (click here for too much info about the top!) I went to Borders to see if they had any of the cd's I've been listening to obsessively on Hip Drop Radio, but the only one they had was the Bellydance Overdrive with all the cool Turbo Tabla stuff. I was really hoping they would have either Rachel's DVD or the Tribal Bible, but no luck. Not that I had any money to spend anyway, but it was fun to look.
(I just found a big glob of red dye in my ear.)
So, it's back to work tomorrow. Having a day off was very nice, but I wish I could have slept in! Maybe next time!
