My neighbor's dog barks at me every night.
I've now lived in this house for over a year. I've been at the same job for about six months. You would think that the combination of these two facts would mean that the dog would have figured out that a) I live here and b) I come home at about the same time every night and therefore come to the conclusion of c) My appearance in the driveway each night is not anything to get excited about. However, every night the dog barks. Not just a couple of barks, but continuous barking as if I have offended him on some deep level. I wish I knew how to apologize.
As of today, I officially have both of my hotel reservations set for vacation. Truth be told, I'm a little bummed that I'm not staying at the Wilderness Lodge or the Polynesian Resort at any point on my trip- this will be the first time ever that I haven't! I'm sure the places I've ended up with will be great, just different.
Surprisingly, not that much has been going on since I last posted here. I've been working 6 days a week to pick up some overtime cash for vacation, so there hasn't been much free time. Helen and I did sneak away from the office to climb up on the roof of the hotel and dance around and take pictures a few days ago, though. That ended up looking something like this:

Yes, forever since I posted here! Sorry 'bout that. I noticed that when I haven't posted in a long time, I usually say that at the beginning of the post, so to avoid being too predictable, I'm sticking the usual apology here at the end. Oooh, quite the sneaky one am I!
Huh. I expected this post to be longer! I guess I didn't have all that much to say. Next time, maybe.
Just 5 days till NaNoWriMo!
