Well, hello there, internet!
I have been a sick Crystal.
I won't go into all of the details, but I think the highlight came yesterday when I spent an entire hour so nauseous I couldn't lift my head. At least I *hope* that's the highlight! Long story short, one of the 4 medicines the doctor prescribed tried to kill me. I'm pretty sure it was the antibiotic, but I'm going all X-Files on all of them: Trust no one!
I went back to work on Thursday- yay for money! It has really sucked though, because I've had to have mom drive me to work every day. I've got some weird ear infection going on where when I drive, it feels almost like when you're on a plane that is landing- the pressure in my ears goes crazy, and I can't breathe. It SUCKS. Why can't I live somewhere flat? Or have less than a 30 minute drive to work?
Anyway, I had to call in yesterday, and I'm off today (thankfully!). Tallulah has been happy to have me back at home- she's not a fan of this whole business where I go to work, and she has to go 9 hours without being petted. She crawled into bed with me in the middle of the night last night, snuggled up, and spent about half an hour purring. Love!
Today I went upstairs to find her passed out in my mom's slipper:

You know you're a little bit jealous that you don't have a cat that cute. The extra bonus cuteness that you can't even see is that she has one of her toy mice stuck inside the shoe, and her head is on top of it. Apparently, she's hiding it!
And just so Lily doesn't feel left out...
Yes, that is a pop-up laundry hamper she is in. My mom bought it a few weeks ago, and left it sitting in the living room once, which Lily took as an opportunity to claim it as her own. Since she seemed to like it so much, we got her one that's actually made for cats:

Yes, those are her feet sticking out the bottom. It has holes on 4 sides, which makes for some quality cat-watching entertainment!
