Current Knitting Projects:

Blue "cookie monster" scarf- Lion brand chenille yarn in Royal Blue- size 10 needles, 7 stitches across, all done in garter stitch

"Peacock" scarf- Bernat Boa yarn in peacock- size  needles-  18 stitches across, all done in garter stitch

Light Purple scarf:   yarn- size 5 needles,  16 stitches across, done in knit stitch

Blue Purse- My first non-scarf project!  Beautiful but unknown worsted weight yarn that Kelly gave me, size 8 needles, 30 stitches across. 

Sad little potholder:  The first knitting I really did- was going to be a scarf at first, but it's much too wide for my taste, and not very good at all, so I'm just going to cut it short and make it a potholder.  That is, if I can ever find my other Size 9 knitting needle!  (32 stitches across- way more than I have patience for these days!)  Not sure yet what I'll use the rest of that pink yarn for- possibly a baby blanket for a friend?

Waiting in the Wings:

Bernat Boa in Mockingbird and Toucan.  Toucan is going to be a skinny scarf, and Mockingbird will probably be the same, although I haven't quite made up my mind.

Lion Brand Chenille yarn in "Seaspray".  It was on sale for just $5, and I haven't quite decided if I love the color or just like it.  I'm probably going to combine it with the ivory color for a stripey scarf. 

Jewel Box acrylic blend yarn in "Amethyst"

Random Blue Yarn- I picked this up at Wal-Mart a while back, and lost the label, so I'm not quite sure what it is.  I may use it to make another purse if the first one turns out well.
